Central Bank of Armenia to intervene in the currency market

There have been drastic changes in the currency market in Armenia during the last few days. The Armenian dram has depreciated considerably against the dollar and the euro. The Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) announced that it will carry out operations in the foreign currency market of the country in order to ensure the normal functioning of the financial markets of Armenia.

CBA continues monitoring the financial markets and in case of necessity will use all its tools to guarantee the stability of prices and the financial stability.
