Q&A with Apricot | What are the key differences between Bonds and Bank deposits?
If you're looking for ways to preserve your money's value and earn some extra income, bank deposits and bonds are popular options.
For investors trading in international markets, it’s essential to understand the market hours, as well as holiday schedules across various exchanges, to plan their investments effectively.
When can I buy or sell stocks on stock exchanges?
Stocks can only be bought or sold during the opening hours of the stock exchange where they are listed. This means that if you’re in Armenia and want to buy Apple* stock, which is traded on the Nasdaq stock exchange, you’ll need to make your trade during Nasdaq’s working hours. Similarly, if you’re interested in a stock on the London Stock Exchange, you’ll need to align your trading activity with their schedule. Each exchange operates independently and has its own set of trading hours.
What are stock holidays?
Stock market holidays are non-weekend business days when the stock exchange is closed in observance of a national holiday, cultural event, or other significant occasion in the country where the exchange is located.
In this article, we present the working hours and holidays for 2026 for the stock exchanges accessible through the Apricot Capital app.
