Central Bank of Armenia to intervene in the currency market
There have been drastic changes in the currency market in Armenia during the last few days.
Refinancing rate has been reduced by 0.5 pp
At its meeting today, the Board of the Central Bank of Armenia decided to reduce the refinancing rate by 0.5 pp, setting it at 9.75%,
the Lombard repo facility rate at 11.25 %, the Deposit facility rate at 8.25 %.
Investment companies can also manage non-public investment funds
At the meeting of September 22, the Board of the Central Bank of Armenia approved the project on making amendments and additions to the Resolution 332-N of the Central Bank of Armenia.
U.S. Federal Reserve leaves interest rates unchanged
The Federal Reserve held interest rates steady at a 22-year high at 5.25%-5.5%.
