Investment companies can also manage non-public investment funds

At the meeting of September 22, the Board of the Central Bank of Armenia approved the project on making amendments and additions to the Resolution 332-N of the Central Bank of Armenia “On Permitting Additional Types of Activities to Investment Companies and Establishing Requirements for Their Implementation”, the aim of which is to completely eliminate barriers for investment companies in providing services in the field of asset management.

In particular, investment companies providing portfolio managment services, defined by Article 25 of Part 1 of Clause 5 of the Law of the Republic of Armenia “In the Securities Market,” are now allowed to manage non-public investment funds.
