The forum aims to address key investment challenges caused by today’s multiple global crises
Interest in financial literature is growing, as demonstrated by the success of Morgan Housel’s book “The Psychology of Money”, which was recognised as one of the best-selling books in Armenia in July 2025.
The Armenian translation of the book, released in May 2025, was made possible through a collaboration between Newmag Publishing House and Apricot Capital, the investment company that initiated and financed the translation.
“We were delighted to learn that the book has generated so much interest among Armenian readers. Our company initiated the translation as part of our efforts to promote financial literacy and a culture of responsible investment in Armenia. The fact that the book has become a bestseller confirms that our compatriots are genuinely interested in learning how to manage their investments and finances,” said Vachik Gevorgyan, Executive Director of Apricot Capital. He also noted that the company will continue to expand financial investment opportunities in Armenia by distributing educational materials and providing access to financial markets with affordable commissions starting from just $1.
Housel’s book, which has been translated into dozens of languages, is not a theoretical finance book. Instead, it explains important financial and monetary concepts in simple, accessible language and through real-life stories. These include compound interest, saving habits and wealth accumulation.
“The goal of publishing this book wasn’t just to present interesting, modern material; it was also to encourage a culture of thinking about personal finance.” Morgan Housel’s work is valuable because he explains complex financial concepts in a clear and accessible way, making them easier for readers to understand. We are confident that books like this one can change attitudes towards money and the future,’ said Gnel Nalbandyan, Editor-in-Chief of Newmag Publishing House.
Apricot Capital is regulated by the Central Bank of Armenia. Investments are subject to market fluctuations and inherent risks.
